Back from Florida
So I got back from AChemS XVII last night, and then had to teach this morning, and then sit in stats for 3 hours this afternoon. Talk about being beat.AChemS was good. Did some good networking, heard some interesting talks and presented my poster. I don't think anybody understood the structural models in my poster but the feedback I got was positive. Highlights of the talks were Jeff Friedman - Mr Leptin himself - talking about obesity and Linda Buck giving an encore of the Nobel lecture she gave in Stockholm. And the desserts at the Nobel reception were very excellent.
