Why my commute sucks...
In one year a commuter with a one-hour commute (each way) spends the equivalent of about 12 workweeks driving to and from work.
And that, my friends, is why I'm so interested by New Urbanism. And after poking around on the UrbanPlanet forums on Sunday, I've come to the conclusion that Providence would be an excellent place to move to for Micaela's residency.
Now I just need to finish my quals, formulate a prospectus, publish 3 papers, defend my dissertation and be a good dad, all by next July.
