Great News. I won another scholarship.
Late Friday afternoon, I heard from Rick Mattes that I was selected as the Rose Marie Pangborn Sensory Science Scholarship Awardee for 2005-2006.This scholarship is awarded to a doctoral student who intends to teach human sensory science at the university level and has an ongoing project under the guidance of a recognized sensory scientist. Candidates are evaluated on their academic record, intended research and commitment to teaching in sensory science, and letters of recommendation.
Or in the words of my friend Age "So you beat out the other guy, eh?"
